The greatest external forces that limit a Slingshot's mobility are rough terrain and air resistance. Wings and spoilers are designed to make the Slingshot more aerodynamic by reducing the rear air turbulence behind it that results in drag. Slingshots moving through the atmosphere disrupt air which then creates force behind them, which slows its forward motion. By breaking up this resistance that force is reduced and the Slingshot is able to move through the atmosphere with less opposition. Wings and Spoilers also hold the added benefit of embellishing the Slingshot's appearance with their sleek design. They make a great addition to any roadshow and are sold in several different shapes and styles from inconspicuous to distinct.
