Corbin Fleetliner SaddleBags for the Polaris Slingshot
The Corbin Fleetliner Saddlebags integrate perfectly with the futuristic body lines of the Slingshot, not only finishing the rear end of the Slingshot, but adding adequate storage for those that want more cargo space.

Since the Slingshot doesn't lean in the curves like a traditional motorcycle, Corbin was able to make these saddle bags larger than the typical motorcycle saddlebag. You'll get approximately 50 liters of storage per sidebag. The left bag is sligthly larger than the right bag because of the monoshock placement on the right rear side of the Slingshot. Corbin realizes that many Slingshot owners will upgrade to larger rear tires, so they allowed enough clearance to support a 305 series tire.. which is more than the stock rim will support. If you choose to run an aftermarket rim, be sure the offset is correct so you don't have issues with the tire rubbing the saddlebags.

The Fleetliner doors secure in place with a lockable double latch system to assure that whatever you're storing is kept safe while parked and kept latched while driving. The doors will open to the side and the weight of the door is supported with a small cable. In addition the 50 liters of storage in each bag, there is also a built in net mounted to the door itself to store smaller items. The doors are constructed with thermoformed ABS for durability and a clean look. Both Saddlebags are fully lined and are weather proof to protect your cargo against the elements.

The saddlebags are constructed of roto-molded polyurethane material and will come prepainted to match your Slingshot. The Saddlebag body and brackets come painted wrinkle black to blend with the slingshot lower plastics, and the doors come painted to match your OEM paint color. This mod is really a 2 in 1 mod, as you also get a high quality ABS rear fender / splash guard with a Carbon Fiber pattern to give the rear end a sporty look.

It's important to notate that this is a "bolt on" mod and does not require any welding or chassis modification, but you will need to modify one of the stock plastic underbody panels. A drilling and cutting template will be supplied with the product. All Corbin brackets will utilize factory bolt hole locations for a clean and professional installation.

I had no problem
I took my time with it. I installed them myself with no problem. They look great. As far as doors not closing or popping open, I have had none of that either.

Look nice but would'nt advise to purchase
Bought for my 18' SE. Install wasn't too hard but didn't line up well and they had nuts and Bolts where only push pins world work. used Zip ties for not, the best solution. I too have problems with both locks, I have to SLAM them shut and then some time they still pop open. I'm always afraid that I will loose something along the way.
I was thinking of buying saddlebags from Corbin for my Valkyrie but not anymore. Don't buy, you'll be sorry!

Expect better quality for the price
Color matched good, but have many of the same issues as everyone else. Had a little custom paint done.

I bought the Corbin saddlebags when I bought my '16LE SlingShot and have had trouble with them from the very first ride. They always pop open and will not stay shut whether they are locked or not. My dealer in Murrells Inlet, SC even kept it at his store for 21/2 months just waiting to hear back from Corbin....all Corbin would tell them was to adjust the latches. C'mon...I was wanting a full refund or at least a new set of saddlebags, but Corbin will not even talk to my dealer about any "Happy Medium" or return their phone calls. I would stay away from this product until another company comes out with a set of saddlebags to compare....I hope there will be a competitor soon!!! Corbin is losing riders confidence 1 by 1.

Corbin Fleetliner Saddlebags
I just finished up the install today. It helps to put the Sling on a lift or jackstands and remove the rear wheel. It also helps to have a second person to assist. Take you time and measure twice and cut once. I needed to call Corbin concerning the instructions. The instructions refer to two of four bolts that have been modified for the installation of the upper brackets. All four of the bolts are the same, and none were modified. Turns out the four bolts will work. No modified bolts are needed now. The directions need to be updated. The rear fender is a little bit of a tough install. The bolts that go through the fender into the bags have a hard time lining up. I solved this by expanding the fender holes to more of a slot to allow an easier way to adjust and install. I only needed to do this to one side, the driver's side lined up right. I was a little concerned when I began to run the fender bolts into the bags. I had a bit of a gap on the driver side, but it went away as the bolts are tightened. You will need to fiddle with these bags to make them fit and line up on your Slingshot. They do not jump right on. Bring your patience and stop to think things out and read and re-read the directions. It would help to have the torque for each bolts listed to advoid snapping the bolts off in half. ( Not that I would admit that this happened to me.)

I am very happy with the color match to my Black Pearl. The doors do need to be closed with force in a manly way to get the latches to catch. The only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 is that the passenger door is gapped out at one end when compared to the driver's side, and I do not want to make it worse by fixing it, but you will never notice it when it passes you at 70 miles per hour.
