The DDMWorks Cold Air Intake (CAI) is designed to provide a higher volume of air to your engine than the stock system. This higher airflow to the throttle body and engine gives you more power, quicker engine response, and more fun! The DDMWorks intake for the 2020-2024 Polaris Slingshot is guaranteed to increase your Slingshot's horsepower and torque, with gains on our dyno of 6+HP at the rear wheel. Along with the added power, the removal of the stock baffles in the stock air box gives the new intake a growl under full throttle that adds to the excitement, but remains quiet while you are just cruising. 

We performed extensive testing on our in-house dyno during the development of the intake, testing different filters, heat shield designs, and intake tubes. We discovered that the stock rubber intake tube from the throttle body to the airbox is extremely efficient, with a nice smooth transition from the throttle body to a huge 4" opening. Using the factory intake tubing in conjunction with our intake allows for an easier install, makes more power than any other tubes we tested, and keeps the air cooler than a metal tube. We also learned that the 2020+ Slingshots center headlight blocks a lot of the airflow to the filter area that was used on the 2015-2019 intakes. So instead of putting the air filter in that location, we designed our intake to catch the air coming up from the front of the Slingshot to keep the air flowing into the air box nice and cold. This design also allowed a straight path for air into the filter from the engine without any bends that decrease airflow. It took a lot of testing with multiple versions of the intake until we developed all of this, but we are confident this is the best-performing intake available for the 2020+ Polaris Slingshots.  

Installation of the intake is quick and easy to do, typically only requiring 20 minutes to install on a Slingshot with simple hand tools.
