Polaris Slingshot Fiberglass Under Dash Subwoofer Enclosure (Fits two 6.5" Subwoofers) by UnderGround Auto Styling
If you're looking to maximize sound in your Polaris Slingshot, you may consider adding one of these Fiberglass Passenger Side Under Dash 6.5" Subwoofer Enclosures by Underground Auto. Up until now, the only way to add sub woofers to your Slingshot was by utilizing your rear storage compartments. This hand laid fiberglass sub enclosure allows you to mount two 6.5" subwoofers underneath your dash to give you the bass your stereo system deserves without compromising your storage compartments. These UnderGround speaker pods come standard with a black textured finish. These pods bolt directly into place and do not interfere with your factory glove box.

Very frustrating install
I too have 2018 SLR and had much difficulty making it fit. First, the SLR uses the holes already for interior lighting, so you have to remove that too start.
Then once I cleared the holes, I couldn’t believe how far it was from fitting. There was basically 0 chance of fitting without mods.
Not sure if the bolts were wrong, or my holes, but frame was in the way keeping me from mounting. Also they could use some holes or mounting hardware for subs at the price, I basically had to mount the subs, so holding that box up with heavy sub while trying to get it to fit, not fun!
I had to drill new slingshot holes, then drill new holes in plate, and move everything over almost a 1/2” toward the console to get it even close.
With that I was able to pry in, i was able to get my stock front pods back in, almost, but couldn’t get all mounting screws back in.
I did the stereo amp upgrade too same day, so made for long day, so I was hoping that part would just slide in as advertised, NOT!

Marvin
I’ve done sound systems for over 20 years and this setup has been one of the most impressive sub woofer setups I have. The bass response is superb without losing any space and the sound levels are crisp and do not miss a beat. This setup is a winner!!!!!
