Keyless Duo Glove Box Lock for the Can-Am Ryker

Very convenient lock
It automatically locks the glove box when using the parking brake and a keyed lock if combined with the brake lock. Installation might be a little tricky but the youtube video is excellent. Just make sure the hole in the lever housing leaves enough room (1/8" on each side) to insert a thin die to tighten the cable adjuster. If that's not the case you can still turn the cable while holding the nut to tighten it. To avoid getting it loose add a little blue locktite to the threads. Make sure there is some play where the eyelet attaches to the parking brake lever. Works perfectly as expected.

Works, but a PITA to install
The part where you have to tighten the nut under by the hole you drill is a PAIN IN THE A$$!!!! There is literally no room to put a socket in there, there is barely enough room for just the nut head. Took me an extremely frustrating hour to get it barely tight enough to stay put in there. It works, but I fear that the nut will loosen over time since I couldn’t properly tighten it. Making sure to not drill the hole too far in the corner would help, but it’s still really tight. SLINGMODS SHOULD MAKE SURE TO SAY TO NOT DRILL THE HOLE TOO CLOSE TO THE CORNER, BECAUSE IF YOU DO IT’S TOO LATE AND YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO TIGHTEN THE NUT. BUT THEY DON’T TELL YOU THAT THERE IS A NUT TO TIGHTEN UNTIL AFTER THE PART WHERE THEY TELL YOU TO DRILL THE HOLE. Please, for the love of God, update the instructions to point out this very important detail, Slingmods.
