Modernize your Can-Am Ryker and enjoy the benefits of our keyless ignition system. This Ryker keyless system is a mostly plug n play installation and includes everything needed to switch from a manual key to a wireless key fob. This system communicates via an RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification Device) tag, which is used to start the ignition sequence within a certain range. With the combination of over 6 billion different codes, you can rest assured your keyless ignition will differ from others.  Each kit is designed to perform under extreme environments and utilizes water resistant sealed control module that is made with military grade FR-4 circuit boards, with small SMT components for durability.  Each kit passes a thorough inspection, as it has to pass the harsh ISO9001 testing and TS16949 OEM Automotive certifications.

What does the Ryker Keyless Ignition Kit include?
• FOB- One Keychain Remote is included with the kit. Extras FOBs are available, but are sold separately.
• RFID Receiver - The Waterproof receiver has 3' feet of loomed wiring for your starter interrupt harness and 6" feet of power and ground wire so that you have flexibility on your mounting location. This receiver is what receives the RF signal from the included wireless keychain FOB.
• Manual Override - You will receive a security card with your system that includes a 4 digit manual override code. This 4 digit code is unique to your Ryker and will allow you to manually override the keyless ignition system if you lose your key FOB.

How to Start the Ryker with Keyless Start?
You'll have a FOB in your pocket and when you're within 10-15 ft of the Ryker it will activate the onboard RFID receiver. You'll simply click the button on the wireless FOB to notify your Ryker that you're there if in Manual Mode. If the key fob is in Auto Mode, it will recognize you approaching the Ryker and allow you to start your Ryker with the normal startup sequence.

What if I drive off without my FOB while the engine is running?
I've done this several times. My wife holds the FOB in her purse and I drop her off at home with the engine running and say Goodbye. I then drive off to my next destination without my FOB!!! We have two safety measures in place to address this issue. First, if you don't have the FOB with you and you turn off the engine, the RFID system stays active for 30 seconds, allowing you to quickly restart the engine to go get your FOB back. You'll also have a 4-digit security card that comes with your Keyless Ignition System that will allow you to manually override the keyless start system via the included water resistant push button override button included with the kit. This code is unique to you and is different for every unit sold.
