Premium Aluminum Key Cover with SlingMods Lanyard for the Can-Am Ryker (Single)

The aluminum casing that secures around the key is fantastic! It is sturdy and does not impact the key's ability to do its job at all. It stays on at higher speeds and gives me peace of mind that a drop won't damage the key. That being said, the metal ring piece that connects the short wrist strap to the key casing itself is the weak point. It broke yesterday after a couple of months of occasional use. I can feel the difference in material quality between the casing itself and this joint piece. Hoping I can find a different way to connect the casing to something else so I can begin hanging it up with my gear again.

I found that installing the key left me smacking my knuckles into the key housing on the Ryker as the key snapped into place. Being bigger than the key alone, this key cover keeps my knuckles away from the side of the bike. No more weary knuckles!
Pro tip: use a dab of blue thread locker when installing the cover to the key. I'm not sure if I missed tightening one of the screws, but I found it missing after a few days, so I re-installed the remaining three screws with thread locker. So far so good!
