If you own a 2020 or newer Can-Am Spyder RT Base model, you know firsthand that it doesn't come equipped with a rear top case like the more expensive RT Limited. Now you could go out and splurge for the factory rear top case from Can-Am, but If that's out of your budget or you're just looking for a cheaper alternative, then you'll be happy to know that we've partnered up with the team over at Spyder Extras to bring you guys this mounting plate that's compatible with the SH58X Shad top case & SE Performance Luggage Rack. Please note that this is the "Mounting Plate Only" and that the BRP LinQ Rack & Shad SH58X Top Case are required.

2023 Spyder RT
Bought this to mount a Shad 58x we picked up locally to my wife's Spyder. Slingmods installation video of the trunk is great and was very helpful. If I had to do it again though, I would buy 6 spacers that are at least 1/2" taller. It was very difficult to mount the Shad mounting plate to this mounting plate. There was not enough room to get my fingers in the opening to start the lock nuts onto the screws. I wound up putting a piece of tape over the end of a box end wrench, pressed the nut into it and then held the wrench under the plate to get the screw started.
Other than that glitch, it's a quality piece that we're happy with.

Top case mounting plate
I like the plate fits good

SE mounting plate
Works great! Would have given a 5, but it is a bit difficult to mount the box onto, especially if you want it all the way forward. I have big hands and they don't fit in the space allotted.
