As described but not for people on the shorter side
It might just be the way my husband installed it (agree with the other comments about the instructions lacking) and not any great current YouTube videos that shows putting the parts together. I can't get it to go forward enough to actually use it and still hold onto the handle bars (I'm 5'6"). It does appear to be comfortable sitting at lights and being able stretch back. Maybe there is a way to adjust this forward more but no idea how.

Great product once installed!
My 2025 RTL did not install quite as smoothly as indicated in the install instructions but I was able to work around with a different approach. I thought I would want all the adjust-ability as I could get but turns out completely 'back' is the most comfortable for me. The ability to fold the back rest down and step over to mount the bike works much smoother than I had imagined.

Great addition
Easy to install. Great addition to my Can Am, low to mid back support is a great thing on longer rides. As well, it is a benefit for way wife to feel even more secure on back.

Great backrest, poor instructions
Once installed it feels great. But the installation took me a couple of hours. The instructions are poorly written and the photos are very low resolution. For instance, there is no mention of having to poke holes in the back of the rest to install the mounting bracket. Both the screw inserts stripped. The screws were too short to push through the vinyl ands the foam padding. I ended up taking the whole thing apart, removing the stripped inserts, and installing my own nuts, lock washers and bolts.
When I removed the seats, I found a plastic part with a metal handle that I had to remove to make room for the backrest support. There was no mention of it in the instructions. I googled the part number and apparently it is the factory "backrest slider".
So all in all, I'm very happy with the backrest, but I hope Show Chrome will take the time to update the instructions.
