Nobody likes getting stranded with a dead battery. Many spyder owners actually carry around portable battery jump starters in case of a dead battery, but let's face it.. accessing the battery terminals is a pain in the butt.
If you're an RT owner it means you have to unload your entire frunk, unzip the liner, peel it off the back wall, unscrew the two bolts that cover the battery to finally expose the terminals. Then you come to realize that the clamps on your jumper cables or jump pack are too large to fit around the tiny terminal of your spyder battery.
F3 owners have to open the frunk, remove the service access cover and remove the 4 push pins.. again to find that the claws from your jump starter are too large for the tiny terminals.
Well this problem has been solved thanks to the guys over at TricLED. Once the jumper port is installed, you'll simply pull off the protective positive cover and connect your positive lead, next connect your negative lead to the nearby frame and crank that puppy over. It couldn't be any easier to jump start your Spyder!
