Polaris Slingshot USB Headset Bypass / CarPlay Activation Adapter for use with Ride Command (2020+)
Designed for 2020+ Polaris Slingshot R models, ROUSH Edition, 2020 Grand Touring LE and Slingshot 10 models equipped with the factory 7-inch RIDE COMMAND system with Apple CarPlay® capability, the EvolutionR USB Headset Bypass / CarPlay Activation Adapter eliminates the need to connect or wear a Bluetooth helmet headset in order to launch Apple CarPlay through the factory display. Installation is completely plug-and-play. First, connect the EvolutionR bypass adapter to the factory USB port located in the glovebox. Next, pair the adapter with the Slingshot’s RIDE COMMAND system as the driver headset, allowing it to emulate the Bluetooth headset connection required for Apple CarPlay. Once the adapter is connected to RIDE COMMAND, connect your iPhone to the USB port in the center console using a compatible data cable. Enjoy quick access to Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, music, messaging, phone functions, and other supported Apple CarPlay apps directly through your Slingshot’s factory RIDE COMMAND display.
Compatibility & Usage Note:
- For Slingshot R, ROUSH, & GT LE Models: This adapter works perfectly. Your vehicle already has Apple CarPlay software active. This tool simply lets you bypass the requirement to connect a Bluetooth headset to use it.
- For Slingshot S, SL, & SLR Models: This adapter will not work on its own. You must first purchase a factory hardware kit from a Polaris dealer (Part # 2884848 for 2020–2024 models or Part # 2891347 for 2025+ models).
