TricBeamz LED Fog Light Kit for the Polaris Slingshot (2020-2024) (Gen 2)

Lights are great. Wiring harness is okay.
Put these on my 2023-R in an afternoon. Wiring them took a bit longer, but that was mainly due to my picky opinions. 1) Didn’t like the cheap looking switch; wanted the factory look added to the switch back under the Ride Command. 2) Always prefer to run lights through a switched solenoid rather than power through the switch itself (even though these are LED and the switch rating is fine. 3) Wanted power from the TricLED fusebox not another set of wires directly on the battery. Bottom line, the lights went in easily, the backing plates are clearly marked, aiming them wasn’t bad, and I LOVE the result.

A huge difference. Makes it much easier to adjust the direction of the lights. This is a must for anyone driving at night especially on dark roads.

Pros:
Light it is bright that if you turn it off. it looks like there’s no headlights!
The Gen 2 mount for aimimg the light is very adjustable. Easy aiming
There’s markings BL & BR for back plates.
Wiring it’s easy plug & play.
Cables are long great for blending it safely with factory wiring harness.

Con:
No instructions to put together the brackets
No wiring diagram. I have to watch the video multiple times
(video is too fast keeps rewinding and pausing)
Needs a simple wiring diagram
The screws you will need 2 wrenches to tighten everything and hard to reach/angle
( a simple carriage bolt is better so you only need one wrench)

Overall, it is still 100% must have if you’re doing any driving at night.

Tricbeamz sold me Gen 2 brackets for a very cheap price and now is very easy to line up lights. Very happy now and great purchase. If you have already purchased Gen 1 version I would highly recommend upgrading to new bracket style.

not worth the money ...
the install wasnt hard but it could have been made easier if the left and right sides were stamped. The lights themselves can not be adjusted straight forward because the brackets dont have enough adjustment in them. That said the lights tend to point out towards the side of the road and not center. The height adjustment is also limited. I think for the money you would be better off with a light bar. The install looks good but thats about it. I am disappointed. I added a few pics so you can see the front and rear to see everything I have mentioned.. The lights do not sit centered and there is no more adjustment to line them up where they need to be. The product could have been designed better for the price.
