How to Bed Your Brakes (Ceramic Pads)
- Use firm brake pressure to slow from approximately 35 MPH down to 5 MPH. Repeat 5 times.
- Use firm brake pressure to slow from approximately 25 MPH down to 5 MPH. Repeat 5 times.
- Ride for 5 to 10 minutes, using the brakes minimally, to allow the brakes to cool.
- Avoid coming to a complete stop during the bedding process if possible.
- Once the brakes have fully cooled, normal riding can resume.
