Polaris Slingshot Adjustable Exhaust by 1320 Performance
The adjustable exhaust system by 1320 Performance comes with baffles to adjust the sound of your exhaust system to fit your audible needs. You simply remove the tip of the exhaust to adjust baffles in minutes. Like their non-adjustable exhaust, this system is constructed with high-quality stainless steel, and includes CNC-machined flanges that accept the OEM O-ring gasket. They've also built in an Anti-Reversion chamber to get rid of unwanted exhaust gases that travel backwards through the exhaust system. For ease of installation and stability they've added a factory spring mounting bracket to keep the exhaust in a OEM fitment with no modification required. This exhaust works with both the OEM slingshot exhaust manifold and the 1320 Performance Header.

** Included Anti-Vibration Bracket Kit is meant for '15-'16 Slingshots only. The 2017+ Models do not use this bracket.

Does the 1320 V2 fit a 2017 SLR? It says only 2015 and 2016 but I cannot find a difference. ( Carl Nichols, 03/12/2018 7:20 pm )
Hello Carl, The exhaust brace that's included with this exhaust hangs from a bracket in the engine bay that's only on the 2015-16 models. This exhaust does fit the 2017 model, but you lose access to this extra hangar which puts stress on the exhaust and manifold and may cause a weld to crack over time. For this reason, we only recommend the 1320 V1 and V2 front exit exhaust systems for the 2015 and 2016 models. Thanks for the inquiry.

No instructions and poor mounting hardware
I bought the V2 header and exhaust system. The header went on very easily and is well made. The V2 exhaust is made well but the brackets are terrible. No instructions for hanging it and 1 bracket and spring was a bad set up. I have been doing exhaust for 20 years and making brackets was not a problem but an inconvenience. For the cost of a single muffler it should come with all the proper brackets, my SS is an 18 and the bracket that shipped with the V2 was not even close to fitting. Also using a hose clamp to secure a sprig bracket is a joke. It heats up and comes loose and needed tack welds to secure. Also it comes with reducers and i bought the quiet baffle. Overall the product is made well but could use some improvement with better brackets and instructions. Thank you

***SlingMods Response*** Hello Lomark, thanks for your review my friend. This product is actually marked as only compatible with the 2015/16 models for that reason. Polaris changed the hood latch bracket in 2017... which made it so that this exhaust could not be used on the newer models without a custom bracket. My apologies for any confusion on this.

Gator's 1320 V2 exhaust
I have had this exhaust on since last fall (with 1320 Header V2). Warning, the bung plugs are not tight from the factory. I didn't check them and the one above the S.S. flex portion came out 75 miles from home. I do like the added HP and performance. I am not a big fan of the sound. I just ordered the new 1320 Baffle thing. I hope it helps the sound, for $25 it is worth a try. There isn't any difference in sound from the various sized baffle tips that come with it. Lord help you if you take the polished tip off after running and it and try to get it back on and the two screws which hold it and the baffle back in. The springs are a pain to install, still can't get the one on the bottom on, so mine is free floating. Quality of the produce is good, sound is bad.

1320 V2 Header and Muffler
This set up looks great, Very big problem is how LOUD it is. I ordered the latest baffle produced by 1320 off *** per their instructions and the SlingShot still sounds like one of those wanna be fast and furious Honda’s with the coffee can exhaust tips. I love loud exhaust but this is just annoying. I will probably go back to the stock muffler as not to piss off the neighbors any further. What a waste, 1320 really needs to do their homework on the muffler!

Too loud, but...
Bought the header and v2 combo. Installation is quite straight forward for the exhaust part off it, but removing the whole side panel was not much fun. Went straight with the smallest baffle, since reviews had said it was loud. Well I was quite disappointed to say the least. Yup, it does sound like a Ford Ranger with a hole in the muffler and still too loud. On top of that when the engine comes to idle it sounds pathetic. I was ready to put the stock muff back on when things got interesting. I heard about the ultra quiet baffle and found only one review where the guy said, a person will be pleasantly surprised. I ordered *** and installed it today and it is excellent, a must have! Still sound like a Ranger but now a pleasant sound and no more gurgling and rattling sounds. Performance?, there is a nice improvement. I am now happy and this purchase, but was saved by the baffle. Go get it.

Thumbs up!
Easy installation, I didn’t have to remove the side panel completely to remove the oem exhaust. There was a bracket that was included with the package that isn’t seen in the installation video but after an email and call to customer service. They were able to explain where the bracket was to be installed. Installation instructions would be helpful or even a picture diagram. Sounds a lot better than stock...no v8 rumble but not to be expected. I could tell a difference in the way it ran, seems to have a little more Getty up and go. It seems to run a lot smoother especially when cruising upper speeds. Looks good under the hood. You will get a whiff of exhaust fumes if you’re setting still.. much more than stock. Overall I would recommend the exhaust system. This review was with the v2 headers installed as well.
