2017-18 Polaris Slingshot Canadian Headlight Conversion Kit
Polaris threw us for a curve ball and changed up the plastic headlight shrouds on the 2017 model Slingshot. We had to go back to square one on this kit and completely redesign the Canadian Conversion kit for the newer model Slingshots. This kit includes two new plastic shrouds, aluminum mounting plate for the new headlights and of course (2) new OE Style front headlights. You'll have the option to run either (yellowish) halogen bulbs or (bright white) LED bulbs with this kit depending on what look you're going for. If you opt for the (bright white) LED upgrade option, we'll also include (2) bright white T10 bulbs so that both your running lights and brights will match on their color output.

After reading the reviews I'm a little confused on the brightness of the Canadian lights vs. the stock lights when installing the conversion. All of the pictures I've seen makes the Canadian lights look just as bright (day or night) as the stock lights. I read one of the reviews about this issue so here's my question:
Is there an adapter to turn the Canadian lights (if they are DRL) to low beam lights or is it simply a wiring issue during installation?
If it's a wiring issue, do I need to call for re-wiring instructions when ordering?

Hello Leroy, here are the instructions on how to increase the brightness of the "canadian conversion" lights to match the brightness level of the standard "outside headlights".

We only recommend running the "Canada Headlights" at full brightness if you swap out your stock halogen bulbs to our LED bulbs. The reason for this is that the stock halogen bulbs draw too much current to run 6 headlights and can blow the headlight fuse. The LED bulbs pull substantially less current and will allow for the Canadian Headlights to be run at full brightness with the wire swap info included in the .pdf link above! Let us know if you need additional assistance.

Looks great!
I'd give this a five star with the exception of a couple things. The lights are a little flimsy when secured and I also wasn't aware that they are only daytime runners on low beam.

**SLINGMODS RESPONSE** Hello Lou, you can actually convert those from running lights to headlights by swapping a few wires. Please let me know if you'd like me to send the instructions over to you. Thanks for the review.
