Unlock Apple CarPlay® on Your Can-Am Spyder F3 & RT with the EvolutionR Headset Bypass
The 2024 and newer Can-Am Spyder F3 & RT models come equipped with Apple CarPlay® compatibility right from the factory. However, Can-Am requires a headset to be paired before the CarPlay icon becomes active. If you do not want to wear a Bluetooth headset but still want to use Apple CarPlay, the EvolutionR Headset Bypass provides a simple plug-and-play solution. The EvolutionR Headset Bypass plugs directly into the factory USB-A data port located inside the glove box. Once connected, you can enter your vehicle’s settings and add the bypass as a driver headset. After the bypass has been added as the driver headset, simply plug your compatible iPhone® data cable into the opposite end of the bypass, then connect the cable to your iPhone. This allows your Spyder to activate Apple CarPlay through the factory display while also charging your phone as you ride, all without the need to wear or connect an actual headset. Whether you want access to navigation, music, messages, or other CarPlay features without the hassle of wearing a headset, the EvolutionR Headset Bypass gives you a clean, simple, and rider-friendly solution. Please note that Apple CarPlay requires a compatible iPhone data/charging cable when connected to this device (sold separately). Power-only charging cables will not activate CarPlay.
Requirements:
- Compatible with iPhone 5 or newer
- iPhone must be running iOS 7.1 or later
- iPhone 5–14 and all iPhone SE models require a USB-A to Lightning data cable
- iPhone 15 and newer require a USB-A to USB-C data cable
- Cable must support data transfer; charge-only cables will not activate Apple CarPlay
- Siri must be enabled on the connected iPhone
