To help protect your ride, we're excited to offer the Phantom Shield Anti-Theft Immobilizer System for the 2020+ Can-Am Spyder RT lineup. The Phantom Immobilizer is a plug-and-play device that intercepts the signal to the fuel pump. Once installed, the immobilizer automatically arms every time the ignition is turned off. If you attempt to start the bike without the key fob, the bike will not start. To start the engine, turn on the ignition and press the unlock button on the included key fob to disarm the immobilizer. Should someone attempt to steal your vehicle while the engine is running, the key fob, which has an approximate range of 200 feet, can be used to intercept the fuel pump signal by pressing the lock button. This action will cause the bike to sputter and shut down. Each immobilizer includes one key fob that is pre-paired to your device. If you lose your key fob or want to add additional key fobs, the RF Receiver is programmable, allowing you to pair several remotes to the same immobilizer. This feature is particularly useful for those who have multiple riders sharing the same bike, enabling each to have their own key fob.
