The long-awaited Thermal R&D Exhaust system for the Can-Am Spyder RT is a purpose-built solution developed specifically for the Spyder platform, not a modified slip-on or generic exhaust. Designed, tested, and tuned at Thermal R&D’s headquarters in Lancaster, California, this true cat-back system delivers a controlled, refined exhaust note that enhances the character of the 1330cc engine without overwhelming the rider. The straight-through, sound-absorbing muffler produces a low, tight, and tuned tone that adds presence and depth, making the engine sound the way it always should have from the factory, without harshness or ear fatigue. Constructed from stainless steel and finished with a ceramic coating for improved heat management, the system features 2-inch exhaust tubing and muffler core to promote efficient exhaust flow and consistent performance. High-temperature continuous strand fiberglass packing helps maintain sound quality over time, while textured powder-coated heat shields provide durability and protection in high-heat areas. Designed to bolt directly into the existing OE assembly, installation is quick and straightforward and does not affect emissions testing. Once installed, the system delivers a clean, show-quality appearance that looks as good as it sounds and adds excitement every time you fire up the engine.
