DoorMate 2 Garage Door Opener for the Can-Am Ryker

Best thing bought.
Works great. One of the best things I've bought for our rykers.

**Great product and super easy to install!**
**Great product and super easy to install!**

I installed the **DoorMate 2 Garage Door Opener** on my 2020 Can-Am Ryker today. I watched the SlingMods programming video, checked the manual, and had it programmed in about 1–2 minutes. Installation on the handlebars took another 4 minutes.

I’m getting about 50 feet of range, which is plenty for me. No more getting off the Ryker and running to my car to grab the garage door remote!

Very happy with this purchase. Great job, SlingMods! Now I’m off to buy more toys for my Ryker!

Do not buy
Product is very weak. You have to be on top of the door when outside to reach the opener. This is the 2nd purchase of the opener. The first got wet in a mist of rain for about 10 minutes and water got inside. The 2nd purchase, this one I added a new battery and still very weak.

SlingMods Response:
Thank you for the feedback, and we’re sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with both units. As demonstrated in our installation video, the operating range can vary significantly depending on the brand and model of the garage door opener. During our testing, one opener required us to be within approximately five feet of the garage door, while other brands worked from several hundred feet away. Unfortunately, replacing the battery will not necessarily improve the range when the limitation is related to the garage door opener’s receiver. We’re also sorry to hear that moisture entered your first unit after being exposed to light rain. We appreciate you bringing both concerns to our attention.

Works as it should
First off let me say sometimes pairing these remotes take a bit. The first one I bought for my Ryker paired right up and the second was a little stubborn but after a few minutes it paired up and works as it should. These are really nice to have especially for my husband’s Honda Rebel, (which it fits his motorcycle also) so there is no fumbling with the phone in the dark after work for the garage opener. Now all he does is press a button o. His way up the driveway and rolls right in.

The garage door opener worked perfectly; it's small and compact, mounted perfectly on the handlebars with a very small footprint. No problem with sync to Genie brand door opener. Highly recommend this product.
